Understanding Procrastination

Did you know that 41% of Americans make New Year’s resolutions, but only 9% are successful in keeping them?

That is a 78% failure rate!

A major contributor to this failure rate is postponing necessary actions to meet our goals -- aka procrastination!

It is not unusual for some people to put things off occasionally. For others, postponing tasks (procrastination) is almost a life choice, regardless of the consequences.

In this workshop, participants will learn:

  1. What procrastination is.

  2. The potential costs and harm in postponing.

  3. Why some people continue to procrastinate?

  4. Some strategies to help avoid procrastination in the future.
